What is the NRR (Noise Reduction Rating)?
Similar to sun tan lotion’s SPF or Sun Protection Factor, the NRR tells you how many decibels you can expect the products to reduce (when wearing the product properly). For example, let’s say that you are attending a concert where the sound is 120 decibels. When you wear our HEAROS disposable foam product with a NRR of 30 dB, you can expect the sound level entering your ear to be 90 dB (120-30=90).
